Welcome to our Website and to our parish community of St. George’s Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church.
We have been very active for the first seven months of this year. Many successful events and projects have been undertaken and they have helped to bring the parish together and keep it financially secure.
Within two weeks, we will be embarking on our biggest undertaking yet and it looks very exciting. We will be holding our inaugural Adirondack Greek Festival on Saturday, August 21, 2010, from noon until 10 PM. A great deal of advertising has been done and we are very optimistic that it will be well patronized.
Feel welcome to come and enjoy the aromas, food, drink, dancing & music as well as the enticing items available for sale at the vending booths in our hall. Activities will be available for young people. Also, there will be free parking and admission.
I want to take the opportunity to thank the many people who have helped prepare for the event, especially our Chairs: Van Stathis and Allen Crotty. Our parish has enthusiastically supported this event and we look forward to having a successful day.
